After the sold out whiskey tasting in May, downTown and Redbones are bringing Tastings with Tony back, and this time, it’s tequila - North America’s first distilled spirit and one of its most popular. Tony will return to lead the tasting at Redbones, right here in Davis Square. The tasting and talk are $15.00 and begin at 5:30. Space is limited and its first come, first serve, so arrive early to get a spot and enjoy complementary appetizers while you wait.
More information on our Spirits page, and at www.redbones.com and 617.628.2200.

Join Tony, downTown’s Spirits Manager, and Mike, regional rep for Domaine de Canton in tasting this delightful ginger liqueur from France. While tasty on its own, it is engineered to be a mixer. Made from cognac and vietnamese ginger, it is made by the son of the gentleman who created Chambord. Stop in and taste this interesting and unique spirit.
Fri. 6/26/09 5-7 PM
Also tasting on Friday will be selections from Classic Wine Imports. Delicious vino poured from 6-9 on Friday night.

Q Tonic
“The world’s best spirits deserve a superior tonic water”– we couldn’t agree more. Stop into downTown to try Q Tonic, with some liquor in it, of course. In addition to tasting mighty fine, Q features hand-picked quinine from the Peruvian Andes, organic agave as the sweetener, and 60% fewer calories than regular tonic water. How can you go wrong?!

Cafe Europa
Come in and taste some wines with Dan Coulton, fisher of fish, from Cafe Europa. He’ll be pouring the Craftsman Kiralyleanyka from Hungary, Amaroo Shiraz & Chardonnay of Australia, and California’s Poppy Pinot Noir.
